Lync2010  bypass lobby

I am trying to allow everyone (PSTN and internal) to bypass the lobby and join the dial-in meeting even when there is no leader. Every time users call into the conference it keeps asking if you are the leader and if they say no and just announce their name it places them in the lobby to wait for a leader to admit them. Am I doing something wrong? Has anyone else seen this issue?

My meeting options are set to:

Access: Everyone including people outside my company.

People dialing in by phone bypass the lobby is checked.

The Meeting Configuration is set to:

PstnCallersBypassLobby:True

EnableAssignedConferenceType:True

DesignateAsPresenter: Everyone

AssignedConfereceTypeByDefault:Fale

AdmitAnonymouseByDefault:True

Hi

Please also seclude the meeting and set anyone don't have to wait in the lobby and anyone would be presenter in Outlook instead of Meeting Now option to test.

Please also install latest version of update for Lync.

My Lync Client is v 4.0.7577.4384. My Lync Server is v 4.0.7577.0

I set the options that you mentioned via Outlook. Still asking to wait for the leader.

from what I am told - even in this scenario - AT LEAST 1 AUTHENTICATED USER needs to be present for the anonymous users to be bring into the MCU.   The ANONYMOUS users will hang out until a presenter / authenticated use joins.   I am confident that there is not a workaround for this particular need currently (in 2013 version)

Im pretty sure you will want to lean on Greg's response here Eugene. I played with this before as well in Lync environments, you will need to have at least 1 person authenticated in the meeting in order for outside users to bypass the lobby. The reason for this is because if you were allowed to have outside users bypass a lobby without a authenticated user joined first, then effectively you will be hosting a free conference service for the outside world to use at your expense.

However, once the leader joins the call and everyone is placed into the meeting, you can have the leader drop off and the call should still continue without a leader joined. Not sure if that will help any though.
